May 19, 2017 – Gucci is pleased to announce that the brand ambassador, renowned Chinese singer and actress Chris Lee, stars once again in the House’s new timepieces and jewelry advertising campaign.

“I have enjoyed the collaboration with Gucci in the past year. Under the vision of Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, Gucci has reinforced its position as one of the world’s most desirable fashion houses. I am honored and excited to continue the journey with Gucci,” Chris Lee noted.

Set in an ornate room, this new campaign was shot by photographer Colin Dodgson in Milan. Chris, with her unique and distinctive style, embodying Gucci’s new aesthetics, showcases the new creations from the House’s timepieces and jewelry collections. For timepieces, Chris presents a G-Timeless with stainless steel case, cherry red mother of pearl dial and cherry red lizard strap, and in another image, she wears a G-Timeless with polished yellow gold PVD case, mystic white Gucci Signature leather dial and mystic white Gucci Signature calf leather strap. As for jewelry, she exhibits GG Running rings, bracelets and necklaces in yellow, pink or white gold with diamonds.

The campaign will break across Asia in the month of June.

Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry is pleased to release new additions to the Le Marché des Merveilles collection, which offer a rich palette of materials, mirroring the creative aesthetic of the House today, and champion the workmanship of this constantly evolving watch range. The animal motifs - the tiger, bee and snake - are the hallmarks of this line, and are elegantly worked into these new extensions, which are defined by exquisite embroidery or finely-cut colored leather.

Two timepieces in this range come with a soft brown Toscano calfskin strap; three others have a sportier look and are fitted with a nylon strap featuring the striped Gucci web. These variants also have Gucci's expression, 'L'Aveugle par Amour' woven onto the strap in bold urban lettering. A detail that distinguishes Le Marché des Merveilles timepieces is the use of embroidery on the nylon dials, where intricate designs of a snake, tiger or bee are offset by the web striped background. Cases are coordinated to the colors of each timepiece, worked in warm yellow gold PVD or stainless steel version. The snake is also framed on a special leather variant, crafted from a single piece of leather used for both the strap and the dial. Here, a grainy leather strap is embellished with a highly detailed red snake design that spirals along the strap before being captured under the sapphire glass. This piece comes with a polished stainless steel case.

Each watch in the Le Marché des Merveilles collection is presented in a 38mm size and is engraved with the bee design on the case back.

The new Gucci Dive extensions offer an eccentric twist to Gucci's most sporty timepiece. The traditionally rugged feel of this performance timepiece has been enhanced with contemporary House motifs such as the tiger and bee designs found on the dials.

The extra-large 45mm variants are fitted with a Gucci web nylon strap in blue-and-red or green-and-red, overlaid with the woven 'L'Aveugle par Amour' expression. The watch teems with detail, from the fine honeybee or tiger embroidery on the dial to the racer web stripes, black PVD case with unidirectional rotating bezel, and luminous hands.

The mood then changes with two 40mm yellow or all-black variants worked with rubber. A sporty rubberized finish is seen on the stainless steel case and crown matching the chunky rubber straps boldly stamped with the Gucci logo. To finish, an unique 3D effect brings relief to the rubber dial, emblazoned with a brightly colored roaring tiger's head.

All Gucci Dive watches contain a Swiss Made Ronda quartz movement and are water resistant to 200 meters.
